Draco Malfoy returns to London after five years of self-imposed exile to start a new life with Harry. But will the secrets of the past destroy everything they’ve worked for?
There’s a lot of mystery surrounding Voldemort’s disappearance 3 years ago; Harry and Draco are going to uncover the truth no matter what the consequences.
Auror Draco Malfoy has disappeared, and Harry Potter has been sent to San Francisco to find him.
Set behind the raunchy SF gay scene, this fic has lots of plot twists and some great OCs. It’s a fantastic premise for the sequel (or ‘second act’ as the author calls it) Surrender The Grey.
One good turn always deserves another. Apparently.
Wow what a specific summary ^^. Set in 2017, Harry and Ginny are settled into their married life with the kids when Harry meets an old man and wakes up the next day in a different universe - how his life would have played out had he endeavoured to help Draco in sixth year. A lot of things are different, but mostly for the better.
Quite an enigma. A lot is superfluous storytelling and there are parts that feel so non-canon and original they lose the familiarity that you get from fanfiction, but paints a very complete and enticing picture, worth a read if you can spare several days.
War tears Hogwarts apart. Death and destruction marr everyone’s lives and the only things keeping the students sane are DA’s meetings and Draco Malfoy’s poetry readings.
The camaraderie that attends disaster.
Malfoy always did have an odd way of going after what he wanted.
Years after Hogwarts Draco Malfoy finds the thing he wants, Harry Potter, who is now Head Auror and married. To find his way to Harry’s heart, he has to ruin his life first. There’s far too much Ginny in this, the whiny bitch.
Sequel to The Price We Pay For Wings.
A consolation of death between Draco and Albus. As poetic as its prequel, happily ever after still has some things to overcome.
Draco Malfoy is broke, his parents are in Azkaban, and school is ready to start…a mysterious benefactor pays for his new robes and books, but why?
After seeing Draco Malfoy’s deplorable state of living once the Aurors had frozen his family’s assets Harry Potter decides to give him a leg up. What starts as a mutual understanding between the two develops into a bit of a crush. Courting ensues.
Draco makes special plans after being told by his Healer that he’s fully recovered from being pregnant and having given birth to his and Harry’s daughter, Violet. The story begins immediately after where Jolene ended.
The ‘happily ever after’ ending to Jolene.
Harry comes back from a mandatory holiday and finds that an Auror raid on his favourite establishment could expose his biggest secret. However, another has even more secrets than he does at stake.
This isn’t usually my cup of tea - I try to avoid mpreg and genderbending fics but this one’s kind of compelling. Draco has a split personality.
The war is over and “eighth year” is about to begin at Hogwarts. But for Harry and Draco, nothing is quite the same. Harry’s looking for an escape, Draco’s looking for a friend. Does a little black bunny hold the answers for both of our boys?
Really nice. So Harry becomes an animagus - a bunny - and Draco becomes quite taken with the ball of furr. As Draco shares more of his inner thoughts and insecurities with his bunny Harry decides he wants to be more than just a pet to Draco. Also, Blaise and Draco sex, yum.
Two years after graduating from Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy is still obsessed with Harry Potter. Fed up, his father makes him get therapy.
Funny and cute, the Freudian slips get a bit out of hand.
The bond between Harry and Draco has been manifesting itself as fervent hate until its true nature is brought to light in their 5th year. The beginning of the story addresses the fear and isolation felt by the two boys as they try and fight the bond that’s drawing them together, but then things get a little more … cosy.
I really enjoyed the early part of the story but as the fic settled down it got into the hospital wing slump that happens in Gold-Tinted Spectacles and Bond that doesn’t tickle my fancy. It ends just before the inevitable clash with Voldemort which is fairly fitting given the nature of the fic but it’s disappointing there isn’t a sequel where that plot is tackled.
Harry, happily married and busy with his Auror career, thinks his life is perfect until he starts discovering what he’s been missing all this time…
This is a quaint, nicely written fic about Draco getting back in touch with Harry years after the war.
Draco has a plan to get Harry Potter, and challenges him to a game of Dare Chess. But is it love, or betrayal, he has in mind?
This fic is very well written. It’s almost too much of a love story for me though, so sweet and sentimental and the middle half seems inconsequential compared to all the wonderful action in the final quarter where the real meat of the story lies. (not for bitter/jaded unromantics)
Draco and his love affair with his quill.
This fic is entirely from Draco’s POV as he begins to write anonymous letters to one Harry Potter. Although regularly raunchy and uncouth it’s also delicate and poetic at times, much like the Draco in this story.
